Female Physiotherapist Job in Nok Kundi Balochistan – Indus Hospital

Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN), through its Community Health Directorate, is hiring a Female Physiotherapist for Nok Kundi, Balochistan. Single accommodation and a rota facility are provided for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy services to in-patient and out-patient departments for both paediatric and adult patients
• Assess patients using clinical reasoning and manual assessment techniques to reach a physiotherapy diagnosis
• Formulate management strategies, recommend the best course of intervention and develop discharge plans
• Evaluate patient progress, reassess and adjust treatment programmes as required
• Take delegated responsibility from senior colleagues for managing patients with particular conditions within each rotation
• Communicate effectively with patients of all ages who face physical and psychological barriers to understanding
• Work the emergency duty rota, assessing and treating acutely ill patients with respiratory problems and multiple pathologies
• Maintain associated records as an autonomous practitioner
• Educate patients, families and the community on injury prevention and healthy living
• Collaborate with treating doctors on referrals, notes and medical history
• Identify and conduct training programmes for pre-prosthetic and pre-orthotic patient needs
• Supervise the physiotherapy assistant

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (DPT) or equivalent.

Experience

Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience.
