About the Organization
Sindh Job Portal is the official recruitment platform of the Government of Sindh, developed by Sukkur IBA University and operated through the Science & Information Technology Department. It was set up to move provincial government hiring onto a single transparent, merit-based system rather than department-by-department newspaper advertisements.
Sindh Government Jobs – Vacancies Announced
A Sindh Government department has announced 265 vacancies across six posts, ranging from BPS-5 to BPS-14. Applications close on 18 September 2026.
The scale here is worth noting. Most provincial announcements carry a handful of positions; 169 seats for a single post is a large intake, and the qualification bar for several of these roles is Matriculation — which makes this one of the few genuine government openings available to candidates without a degree.
Vacancy Details
| Post | BPS | Vacancies | Qualification | Last Date |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Account Assistant | BPS-14 | 33 | Graduation (4 years) | 18 Sep 2026 |
| IT Assistant | BPS-12 | 14 | Graduation (4 years) | 18 Sep 2026 |
| Junior Clerk | BPS-11 | 36 | Graduation (2 years) | 18 Sep 2026 |
| Divisional Accountant | BPS-11 | 1 | Graduation (2 years) | 18 Sep 2026 |
| Constable Driver | BPS-5 | 12 | Matriculation | 18 Sep 2026 |
| Foot Constable | BPS-5 | 169 | Matriculation | 18 Sep 2026 |
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: 18 to 28 years for all posts
- Minimum STS Score: 40 for every post
- Job Type: Regular
- Domicile: Sindh domicile required
- Account Assistant and IT Assistant require a four-year graduation degree
- Junior Clerk and Divisional Accountant require a two-year graduation degree
- Constable Driver and Foot Constable require Matriculation
What the STS Score Means
Every post on this list requires a minimum STS score of 40. STS is the Sindh Testing Service, and the score comes from its standardised test rather than from the department itself.
This matters practically: if you have not appeared in an STS test, or your score is below 40, your application will not proceed regardless of your qualification. Candidates planning to apply for multiple Sindh Government posts should sit the test once and use the same score across applications rather than waiting for each announcement.
Sindh Government Jobs for Matric Pass Candidates
The two constable posts — 181 seats between them — accept Matriculation, which is unusual in current government hiring where a bachelor’s degree has become the default minimum.
For the Constable Driver post, a valid driving licence is expected alongside the qualification. For Foot Constable, physical standards apply and are assessed at the recruitment stage, so candidates should be prepared for a physical test in addition to the written score.
How to Apply
Applications are submitted online through the Sindh Job Portal. You must register an account, complete your profile, and then apply to each post separately — the portal does not carry one application across multiple vacancies.
The advertisement for each post is available on the portal under “View Advertisement” and should be read before applying, since individual posts may carry additional departmental requirements.
