Sindh Govt Jobs – Vacancies Announced

The Sports & Youth Affairs Department has announced three posts in BPS-5 and BPS-7. Applications close on 17 September 2026.

These are small intakes — one seat each — but all three accept Matriculation, which puts them within reach of candidates who are usually shut out of provincial hiring by degree requirements. Single-seat posts also attract fewer applicants than mass recruitment drives, so the odds are not as poor as the vacancy count first suggests.

What the STS Score Means

All three posts require a minimum STS score of 40. STS is the Sindh Testing Service, and the score comes from its standardised test rather than from the department.

If you have not appeared in an STS test, or your score falls below 40, the application will not move forward regardless of qualification. Anyone planning to apply for several Sindh Government posts should sit the test once and reuse the score across applications rather than waiting for each new announcement.

Which Post Suits You

Typist is the most transferable of the three. Departments assess actual typing speed and accuracy, usually in both English and Urdu, so practise on a keyboard rather than a phone before the test.

Electrician asks only for Matriculation on paper, but practical competence with wiring, fittings and distribution boards is assessed at the skills stage. Candidates holding a DAE or trade certificate alongside Matric will have a clear advantage even though it is not listed as mandatory.

Library Clerk is BPS-5, the lowest grade of the three, and involves cataloguing, issuing and record-keeping. It is a reasonable entry point into provincial service for candidates who intend to study further while employed.
