Eligibility Criteria

• 0–1 years of experience in fraud detection, risk management, payments or a related field, preferably in fintech, banking or e-commerce
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with close attention to detail
• Familiarity with fraud detection tools or internal case management systems such as Salesforce
• Understanding of regulatory requirements including KYC and AML
• Ability to think critically and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays when required

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time transactions for suspicious or high-risk activity using internal and third-party tools.
• Investigate cases of potential fraud, account takeovers, identity theft, chargebacks and other suspicious activity.
• Analyse fraud trends and contribute to developing rules and strategies that prevent financial loss.
• Escalate complex or high-impact cases to senior risk analysts or internal teams.
• Collaborate with customer support, compliance, engineering and legal teams to improve processes and reduce fraud.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports on fraud incidents, resolutions and risk trends.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fraud typologies, regulations such as KYC and AML, and industry best practices.
• Respond to requests from payment processors or financial institutions relating to fraud or disputes.
• Recommend improvements to policies, workflows and automation tools.
